Gears of War 3 Leaked!

aaaaaThe one game every Xbox fan has been waiting for has been leaked on various torrent sites. Like all good rumor stories, it originated on a thread on the NeoGAF forums. This thread shows a discussion about a rumored entire but unfinished build of Gears 3 being leaked to the internet. Most people initially thought it to be a hoax but a short while ago videos have been uploaded showing the superb graphics from what is indeed the latest version of the game.

aaaaaRumors are circulating that due to this being a developer build, it only works on certain JTAG modded Xbox consoles. Early reports are suggesting that achievements are locked out but the single player campaign be played comlpetely. The multi player mode, they say, is a buggy mess.

aaaaaThis is really bad news for both the industry and the gamers. Gamers who had been waiting the entire year for this one will now have to try and avoid spoilers from forums and all forms of YouTube Gears 3 videos. A shame really.

aaaaaIf you want to have a better experience with the game and don’t want to get banned from Xbox Live, then wait until the official version comes out on September 20, 2011. The developer Epic Games has been working on this game for more than two years. Support them so they keep the good stuff coming.
