Google has told Mobilized that it will soon be rolling out a fix for the ClientLogin vulnerability that came into view earlier in the week.
Through the vulnerability, a person could – via WiFi- collect authetication tokens to password protected websites like Facebook, Twitter and Google Calendar.
âToday weâre starting to roll out a fix which addresses a potential security flaw that could, under certain circumstances, allow a third party access to data available in calendar and contacts,â Google told the publication. âThis fix requires no action from users and will roll out globally over the next few days.â
Google said that the security hole will still be present in Picasa Online, though the company is working to towards a fix for it as well.
