HTC rejects Apple patent claim, says they should start competing than suing

If there is one thing that Apple absolutely loves other than making visually pleasing yet hardware-ly limited products is suing other companies to protect their patents. Their latest target is HTC, against whom the Cupertinos has filed a fresh complaint with the US International Trade Commission, and has also lodged a suit in a US District Court in Delaware.

Obviously, this hasn’t gone down well with the Tawinese manufacturers, who has lashed out against the iPhone makers saying the company should stop suing and start competing.

“HTC is disappointed at Apple’s constant attempts at litigations instead of competing fairly in the market,” said HTC general counsel Grace Lei in a statement.

“HTC strongly denies all infringement claims raised by Apple in the past and present and reiterates our determination and commitment to protect our intellectual property rights,” she said.

Apple is also in battle with Samsung, whom they have accused of copying its iPhone’s hardware and software design.
