Apple Releases iTunes Match

iTunes has been a huge success for Apple over the years, pretty much being the standard for digital music purchase. Now, Apple has unveiled the latest version of the player with something called iTunes Match, and the service isn’t free.

For $24.99 a year, iTunes Match scans your music library and matches them with their versions of iTunes Store. Non-matching music will still be uploaded, and all of this can be played on any iOS device including the Apple TV. Of course, for now the service is only available in the United States and negotiating with the record labels for every country probably means it’s not being released in UAE anytime soon.

Would you pay for something like that?
