Google releases Ice Cream Sandwich source code

Google released the cource code for Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich today, just a bit ahead of the official Galaxy Nexus launch. This is exciting news for everyone who has rooted and tried different ROMs on their devices as there will be plenty of ROM developers looking into getting ICS on many Smartphones really soon.

Again, this release is stricly targetted towards people comofrtable with flashing ROMs on their devices. Official upgrades from the likes of Motorola, HTC and Samsung will probably take a bit longer to show up. Google has also released the source code for Honeycomb but not completely as they want developers to focus on ICS instead. Click here if you’re interested in getting the source code.
