Anonymous gets banned from Google+, decides to make its own network

What would you do if you were banned from Google+ for posting content that violated the website’s Community Standards? You would lament, flame the service on various discussion boards, and/or move to Facebook to spread your contently wisdom. However, if you were the nefarious hacker group Anonymous, you would simply just open your own social network.

Yes, you read that right. After being handed a ban for its ‘Your Anon News’ Google+ account, the hacker group has decided to create its own social media website. It’s not called a lot different either: Anon+. A bare bones site is up as well, with the following announcing its ‘arrival’:

“Welcome to AnonPlus. This will be your future. This will be our future. Today, we welcome you to begin anew…to watch this glorious incipience happen â€" one upon which you will never turn your back on. Welcome to the Revolution â€" a new social network where there is no fear…of censorship…of blackout…nor of holding back. Life is what you make of it â€" and we are making it. As you step through into the coming weeks, months, and years with us…they will know that we’ve arrived. There will be no more oppression. There will be no more tyranny. We are the people and we are Anonymous. We have arrived.”

The website just links to the development forums, and states that its currently in version 0.1 alpha. I guess it will be a while before we can see a beta of it? Anyone up for an Anonymous ‘Social’ Network?
