It’s no secret that Apple is having a hard time keeping up with the demand for the latest iPads. However, a recent report at fortune suggests that Apple might finally have a grip on the situation. Not sure if this is because the demand for the iPad is finally slowing down or Apple has upped the number of units that are being produced.
“Apple’s (AAPL) has been having trouble keeping up with demand for the iPad 2 from the day the product launched in early March. Shipping times were stuck at 1-2 weeks from mid-April to July 8, when they were cut to 3-5 days. Reader Howard Kaplan noticed Saturday morning that they have since fallen to 1-3 business days, which is about as fast as Apple can get any product out the door.”
