Nokia E6 lands in UAE

aaaaaNokia has launched its Qwerty and touch enabled smartphone called the E6 recently in the UAE.

aaaaaOfficially this is the successor to the E72 smartphone. The Symbian Anna update brings some new features, including new-look icons, improved text input and easier and faster browsing capabilities.

aaaaaWhats really unique about the phone is for the first time users can choose from the broad range of Apps on Nokia Ovi Store and be billed directly to their Etisalat account.

aaaaaSpecifications appear standard, with a 2.46-inch LCD that delivers a 640 by 480 pixels resolution, an 8 megapixel camera with dual-LED flash capability, a microSD memory card slot with support up to 32GB and a 1500mAh battery which is capable of providing a stand-by time of more than a month and 7.5 hours of continuous talk-time on 3G network

aaaaaAccording to Nokia, “Like other Symbian phones, the Nokia E6 comes with free global walk and drive navigation through the latest Ovi Maps. It also comes with free push email and IM, providing you have a data plan.”

aaaaaExpect it to retail for around 1500 Dirhams.
