IE team sends Mozilla delicious cupcake for shipping Firefox 6

In what has become a company tradition, Microsoft’s IE team have once again sent a cake to Mozilla. Every time the Firefox developers ships a new version of their browser, the IE team sends a mouth watering goody for them to savor. This time being for the launch of Firefox 6.

Interestingly, the goody always used to be a massive cake, however ever since Mozilla’s decision to adapt to a more speedier release schedule, the treat has become smaller – now down to a single cup cake. But oh well, I am sure the folks over at Mozilla know how to share and care (open source developers, right?).

There have been no reports of extending the same gesture to Google. Though, going by how quick Google is with the releases of Chrome, the IE team would have to send a cupcake every other day.
