Google Video finally arrives on smaller screens

We all saw Google Video hit tablets a while back, now it seems that the App has made its way to the smaller Android devices too. The giant G has released the latest update recently which brings the Google Video applications to smartphones (just 2.2, Froyo and 2.3 Gingerbread for he time being) as well, so you don’t have to try and sneak a large, unwieldy tablet around just to watch your favourite movies in class.

The update includes some necessary bug-fixes to improve the robustness of the service. This should have no issues working with your newest Android version 2.2 tablets either. The service offers full-length feature film rentals via Android Market, enabling Android device users to instantly stream movies to connected devices and cache content for offline viewing.

Previously, it was only supported for Android 3.0 operating system, Honeycomb. Head over to the Android Market to download it now.
