Chromebooks are now Windows capable

Been itching to buy a Google Chromebook for a while now but turned off by the web dependency? looks like Citrix and it’s virtualization technology have come to your rescue.

Citrix, as reported in pcworld, has developed a new app (Available on the Chrome webstore) which enables you, through their own virtualization technology, to access Windows desktops and applications. The app, affectionately dubbed “The Citrix Receiver Tech Preview for Chrome OS” is free for business that hosts desktops and apps in their data centre. You’ll have to get a MyCitrix login of your own though.
