Googles latest foray into social networks, Google+, will soon be bringing you social games.
The guys at SlashGear found a help page on Google+ which points to an imminent Games stream which we all, (Mark Zuckerberg included) pretty much expected at this point.
“If you’re looking for updates shared from games, check out your Games stream,” said Google+’s help page, which was taken off the live site shortly after the news broke. The hyperlink for ‘Games Stream’ when the post was live led to an error 404 page.
The games stream is expected to be similar to the one on Facebook, where third party developers use APIs to build applications that utilize the social aspect of the site, though it might be supplemented by input from games on Google Android devices. This could lead to leader boards with friends or scaled-for-web versions of the most popular games.
This ‘helpful’ slip-up, along with lines of code developers discovered earlier lead us to conclude that Games are very much in the pipelines for the Google+ project, and probably near release.
