Microsoft begins rolling out Mango Updates

Microsoft is now pretty much all set rolling out the Mango update for Windows Phone 7 owners and this link will take you to a page on their website detailing the schedule. At the moment, everything is set to “Scheduling” which, as per the website, is a phase that typically lasts 10 business days or next so keep an eye on your device for a notification for the update. For everyone in the UAE, scroll all the way down as you probably have an unlocked device or Open market phone.

The Mango update is set to bring over 500 new features to the smartphone platform- some of the major features include Internet Explorer 9, along with HTML5 support and GPU hardware acceleration, Bing Vision, search by voice and Music Search as well as Multitasking. You can read our blog on initial impressions here.
