Anonymous member reveals himself, says Anon no longer stands for what it says it does

A user called SparkyBlaze, apparently a member of the nefarious hacker group Anonymous, has revealed himself as a UK-based resident named Matthew.

According to his message posted over at PasteBin, Matthew said his decision to come clean was due to the increasing side tracking of the principles and morals the Anonymous group stood for.

“So When I Started With Anon I Thought I Was Helping People But Over The Past Few Months Things Inside Anon Have Changed. I Am Mostly Talking About AntiSec And LulzSec. They Both Go Against What I Stand For (And What Anonymous Says They Stand For). AntiSec Has Released Gig After Gig Of Innocent Peoples Information. For What? What Did They Do? Does Anon Have The Right To Remove The Anonymity Of Innocent People? They Are Always Talking About Peoples Right To Remain Anonymous So Why Are They Removing That Right?”

Matthew said that Anonymous, who boasts of no particular leadership, does in fact have one, and it does not “give 2 f*** about us”. He said if the governments want catch the people behind Anon, they should target the leaders, not the “kids” working for them.

Anonymous has yet to comment on the subject. We just hope that when they do, it’s not in the form of its typical, long and boring press release.
