Nixon, Beastie Boys make best mash-up video. Ever

Way to transform a movie about budget spread sheets and Hal Holbrook chain smoking behind a cement support beam in a parking garage into a straight up ACTION THRILLER,  Jeff Yorkes! That's the freelance film and trailer who made the so-obvious-it's-genius mashup in which "Alan J. Pakula's 'All the President's Men' conspires with 'Sabotage' by the Beastie Boys" (above).a

Not that the movie version of book based on the Washington Post stories by Bob Woodward and Carl Bernstein isn't exciting — it starts with G. Gordon Liddy and a burglary and and ends with President Richard Nixon's ill-fated inauguration of 1973, and all the while features Dustin Hoffman's excellent hair! The new soundtrack, however, is value added. With this update, you'd be hard pressed to find a movie in which the act of old-timey typing will make your heart race as fast ... other than "The Shining," of course.a
