Barnes & Noble and rival Kobo launched touchscreen e-ink readers to compete with Amazon's Kindle, while a new Kindle, the 3G cellular version cheapened by ads and "special offers," also quietly debuted. All the while, rumors of Amazon's iPad-threatening tablets keep percolating up.a
