Rumor: New Macbook Air hitting retail this month

aaaaaAccording to a report from Reuters, Apple is all set to release its refreshed Macbook Air lineup this month.

aaaaaThe news outlet cites a report from Taiwan’s Economic Daily, which says that Apple’s first shipment of the new Air notebooks will total up to about 380,000 units. The new Airs are expected to feature Intel’s Sandy Bridge processors, Thuderbolt I/O ports, and better Intel graphics engine.

aaaaaAdditionally, the Economic Daily also reported the iPad 3 is scheduled to release in the fourth quarter, and will have resolutions 5-6 times higher than iPad 2′s. That’s a new one.
