Android remains market leader in mobile OS

aaaaaAs per stats of Millennial Media’s mobile ad network, Android is still the top smartphone OS on for the sixth consecutive month. In second place, Apple’s iOS as expected. BlackBerry Curve demand has increased share of Research In Motion to 17 percent. Nokia’s Symbian and Microsoft’s Windows Phone trailed with 2 percent and 1 percent of all ad impressions, respectively.

aaaaaThis shows a significant trend in market where Apple market is finally broken but other than smartphones, iPads own a big share in net connected devices also. Secondly Android devices are from various manufacturers like Samsung, HTC, Sony Ericsson etc. while Apple is sole distributor of its handset making it still the largest earning company in smartphones.
