Apple hires developer of MobileNotifier jailbreak notification app

aaaaaMobileNotifier was, and still is, quite a popular iOS notification app which is universally considered to be the best notification system for the iPhone4. MobileNotifier allows a simple interface to show you various notifications on your iPhone 4 without them coming in the way of whatever you’re doing. You can see a quick little demo of it below.

aaaaa

aaaaaAs you can see, MobileNotifier alone is worth a jailbreak of your iPhone4. As with any major corporation though, if there’s a way to do something better, then it’ll be incorporated in the next update. I’ve personally seen this many times done in Worlf of Warcraft, where any community built add-ons that are very popular get incorporated into their next major patch. Like Apple have now hired the lead developer of MobileNotifier, Peter Hajas, as confirmed by Redmond Pie.

aaaaaAs we reported earlier last week, Apple is planning to announce a new and hopefully much better notification system with iOS5 at WWDC tomorrow, and the hiring of Peter Hajas could certainly be considered as good news. I guess we’ll find out tomorrow how things go with the new notification, and how similar, if at all, it’ll look to MobileNotifier.
