There is no stackable interface were all the notifications could go, using an old-fashioned one-upon-one layered format that is now extremely cumbersome and outdated. Thankfully, rumors of a new notification system for the iOS have been hinted at, what with Apple acquiring app developer Boxcar, who developed a notification app for different services.
aaaaaNow, TechCrunch is reporting that a new notification system is indeed in the workshop, and will be unveiled at Apple’s upcoming WWDC event. The report also mentions another new feature for the iOS: widgets. Currently, users have to rely on jailbroken apps like Lockinfo that works as an all-in-one notification area and supports add-on such as weather. aaaaaOf course, all of these are just rumors, so take it how you may. WWDC begins from June 6-10.
